Eastern Caribbean Forecast
Updated: 2026-07-19 02:18 AST 13 hours ago
The presence of the ITCZ and its associated moisture and instability will maintain mostly cloudy skies with periods of showers and thunderstorms across portions of T&T and the southern Windward Islands during the next 24 hours. Elsewhere across the eastern Caribbean, skies will mostly fair and hazy with only a slight chance of a brief light shower as a dry, stable and hazy airmass continues to sit across this portion of the island chance during that time.
Forecaster: Bernell Simon — A daily forecast issued by the Antigua & Barbuda Met Office, covering the Eastern Caribbean islands.
About “de wedda” website
de wedda is the Caribbean way of saying “the weather.” That’s the idea behind dewedda.com: a quick, no-nonsense snapshot of Eastern Caribbean weather, covering 18 islands from Anguilla to Grenada.
I’ve lived in the Caribbean most of my life, and during hurricane season I always want answers to the same three questions:
- Is there an active storm that actually matters to our islands?
- Where is it right now?
- How close could it get to my island, whether I’m home or visiting somewhere else in the chain?
That third question is a core motivation behind this website: the site continuously calculates the distance, bearing, and Closest Point of Approach (CPA) for every active storm relative to each island’s capital. Beyond storm tracking, de wedda also logs and charts hourly conditions year-round, simply because some of us enjoy looking at the data.
Forecasts and storm data come from the National Hurricane Center and other official sources. Current conditions update hourly. The site is built to load fast on a slow mobile connection, which is exactly when you need it most.
de wedda is an independent tropical weather and storm tracking tool, not an official forecasting authority. This website links to every national meteorological office in our region. When there’s an active storm, always follow their official forecasts and local guidance.
